MILLER, Jacob, a Representative from Berks County; born, April 25, 1832 in Reading, Berks County, Pa.; blacksmith; elected, city council, Reading (1866-1870); inspector, Berks County prison (1873-1874); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1874, 1875, 1876 and 1877; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1878); elected, commissioner, Berks County (1902-1905); died, October 31, 1917 in Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
