(35 years); school director, Christiana; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1874, 1875, 1876 and 1877; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1878); died, September 3, 1914 in Christiana, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Pleasant United Methodist Cemetery, Christiana, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
