LEAW, Legrand, a Representative from Bucks County; born, February 24, 1838 in Attleborough (now Langhorne), Bucks County, Pa.; attended, Attleborough Academy; teacher; farmer; notary public; elected in a Special Election to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat; Sworn-In on January 4, 1876 to serve the remaining 1876 term; reelected to the House to serve the 1877 and 1878 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1879 term; died, March 29, 1895; interred, Middletown Friends’ Cemetery, Middletown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
