KREAMER, James C., a Representative from Carbon County; born, December 18, 1833 in Hecktown, Northampton County, Pa.; attended, Reynold’s Seminary (now Muhlenberg College); graduated, Berkshire Medical College, 1859; teacher; physician; farmer; elected, coroner, Carbon County (1868-1871); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1876 and 1877; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1878); engaged, real estate business; unsuccessful campaign, treasurer, Carbon County (1893); director and secretary, Towamensing Mutual Farmers’ Fire Insurance Company; died, June 7, 1911 in Aquashicola, Carbon County, Pennsylvania; interred, Towamensing Cemetery, Palmerton, Carbon County, Pennsylvania.
