FOSTER, James Huston, a Representative from Bradford County; born, May 29, 1840 in Towanda, Bradford County, Pa.; captain, Company I, 210th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1864-1865, Civil War); farmer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1876 and 1877; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1878); died, September 4, 1915 in Towanda, Bradford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Riverside Cemetery, Towanda, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
