FISH, Hiram Barry, a Representative from Northampton County; born, December 2, 1845 in White Haven, Luzerne County, Pa.; private, Company K, 194th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1864, Civil War); civil engineer, Lehigh Coal and Navigation Company; railroad conductor; general agent, Lehigh and Lackawanna Railroad Company; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1876 and 1877; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1878); division general manager, Portland, Poughkeepsie, and Boston Railroad Company; died, May 26, 1889 in Bath, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Green Mount Cemetery, Bath, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
