BACHMAN, Francis Marion, a Representative from Lebanon County; born, July 14, 1841 in Lititz, Lancaster County, Pa.; attended, Lititz Academy; teacher (10 years); drain tile manufacturer; cigar manufacturer; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1876 and 1877; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1878); died, November 18, 1908 in West Earl Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Rothsville United Zion Cemetery, Rothsville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
