WARDEN, James S., a Representative from Westmoreland County; born, August 1, 1827 in East Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County, Pa.; farmer; bank assessor (1876-1877); school director (12 years); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1879 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1881 term; died, February 18, 1905 in Eustis, Lake County, Florida; interred, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
