NAKLE, Ernst, a Representative from Lehigh County; born, May 20, 1824 in Frankenstein, Province of Silesia, Prussia (now Silesia Province, Poland); attended, University of Breslau (now University of Wrocław); teacher; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1876, 1877 and 1878; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1880); elected, Democratic State Central Committee; saloon proprietor; German-speaking orator, Democratic National Committee; died, August 2, 1893 in Catasauqua, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania; interred, Gethsemane Cemetery of Saint Mary, Catasauqua, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
