KAHL, John Wesley, a Representative from Clarion County; born, December 28, 1821 in Warrior’s Mark, Huntingdon County, Pa.; engaged, pig iron manufacturing; engaged, oil business; farmer; merchant; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Lineville, Venango County, Pa.; school director, Lineville; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1879 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1881, 1883, 1885, and 1887 terms; died, February 21, 1895 in Lineville, Clarion County, Pennsylvania; interred, Venus Cemetery, Fryburg, Clarion County, Pennsylvania.
