GRAHAM, George H., a Representative from Butler County; born, March 1, 1833 in Franklin, Venango County, Pa.; attended, Allegheny College; quartermaster, 137th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1862-1863, Civil War); teacher; principal, West Sunbury Academy; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1879 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1880); school director, Fairview, Butler County (15 years); elected, burgess, Fairview (5 years); mine engineer; surveyor; engaged, oil business; died, January 18, 1910 in Fairview, Butler County, Pennsylvania; interred, Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
