FULTON, William T., a Representative from Chester County; born, February 27, 1835 in West Nottingham Township, Chester County, Pa.; attended, Jordan Bank Academy; major, Company E, F & G, Purnell Legion, Maryland Infantry (1861-1862, Civil War); first lieutenant, Company A, 29th Regiment, Pennsylvania Emergency Militia (1863, Civil War); farmer; blacksmith; teacher; lawyer (1861-1912); elected, justice of the peace (1863-1876); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican to the 1877, 1878 and 1879 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1880); died, November 9, 1912 in Oxford, Chester County, Pennsylvania; interred, Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
