FOUST, Benjamin Rush, a Representative from Huntingdon County; born, December 22, 1830 in Shirleysburg, Huntingdon County, Pa.; attended, Juniata Academy; merchant; grain dealer; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Mount Union (1857-1861), Mill Creek (1885-1889); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a member of the National Greenback Party for the 1879 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1880); school director; died, March 11, 1890 in Mill Creek, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.
