DOYLE, Rev. Martin Patrick, a Representative from Huntingdon County; born, January 6, 1838 in Belfast, Ireland; lieutenant, Company E (1863-1864), Company I (1864), 182nd Regiment, 21st Calvary, Pennsylvania Volunteers (1863-1864, Civil War); minister, United Brethren Church; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a member of the National Greenback Party in 1878; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1880); died, April 20, 1916 in Huntingdon, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania; interred, Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.
