CIANCIULLI, Matthew J., Jr., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa., July 28, 1942; graduated, Bishop Neumann High School; attended, St. Joseph’s College; retail grocer, family-owned Matt’s Market; chief revenue investigator, Philadelphia Department of Collections (1973-1975); chair, 1st Ward Democratic Executive Committee; elected as a Democrat by Special Election to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives on April 27, 1976 to serve the remaining 1975 term; Sworn-In, May 10, 1976 and reelected in 1976 and 1978; resigned from the House, November 14, 1979; died, November 15, 2008 in Hammonton, Atlantic County, New Jersey; intered, Fernwood Cemetery and Mausoleum, Fernwood, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
