MYERS, Samuel Bunnell, a Representative from Venango County; born, February 21, 1835 in Franklin, Venango County, Pa.; graduated, Allegheny College, 1856; attorney-at-law; elected, District Attorney, Venango County (1867-1872); elected, mayor, Franklin (1873-1874); elected, city council, Franklin; elected, school board, Franklin; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1879 and 1881 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1883 term; died, November 13, 1895 in Franklin, Venango County, Pennsylvania; interred, Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, Venango County, Pennsylvania.
