MARSH, Joseph H., a Representative from Bradford and Sullivan Counties; born, May 7, 1822 in Pike Township, Bradford County, Pa.; carpenter; farmer; elected as a Union Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1863 and as a Republican in 1864; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1865); tanner; engaged, furniture manufacturing business; elected, auditor, Bradford County (1878-1879); reelected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1880; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1882); real estate broker; died, June 30, 1899 in Wyalusing, Bradford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Wyalusing Cemetery, Wyalusing, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
