RAVENSTAHL, Robert Pierre, a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa., December 31, 1924; graduated, Perry High School; graduate courses, University of Pittsburgh; served, "U.S.S. Anderson," United States Marine Corps (1943-1945, World War II); deputy fire chief, city of Pittsburgh (20 years); chair, 26th Ward Democratic Committee (1960); alderman, 26th Ward (1965-1971); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election on November 4, 1975 to serve the remaining 1975 term; Sworn-In, November 17, 1975 and was reelected in 1976; unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the House (1978); died, September 1, 2015 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Christ Our Redeemer Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
