FENLON, John, a Representative from Cambria County; born, circa 1818 in County Carlow, Ireland; attended, Carlow College; lawyer (1837-1899); editor, Democratic Journal (1838); elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1849 term; elected, council, Ebensburg; elected, burgess, Ebensburg; reelected to the House as a Democrat for the 1879 and 1881 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1883 term; died, August 14, 1899 in Ebensburg, Cambria County, Pennsylvania; interred, Old Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
