SNYDER, James M., a Representative from Bucks County; born, January 2, 1857 in Sellersville, Bucks County, Pa.; graduated, Millersville Normal School (now Millersville University of Pennsylvania), 1878; farmer; teacher; principal, Yardleyville Grammar School; enumerator, United States Census, Lower Makefield Township, Bucks County (1880); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1882; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1884); agent, Provident Mutual Life Insurance Co.; died, April 17, 1932 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
