SHORTT, Charles McKendrie, a Representative from Warren County; born, March 10, 1850 in Youngsville, Warren County, Pa.; cashier and president, Sugar Gove Bank; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1883 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1885 term; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1894-1898); died, January 22, 1931 in Queens, New York City, Queens County, New York; interred, Cherry Hill Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Warren County, Pennsylvania.
