SEIDEL, Charles Absolom, a Representative from Berks County; born, December 4, 1841 in Windsor Township, Berks County, Pa.; teacher; clothing and shoe merchant; elected, school board secretary, Hamburg; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1880 and 1882; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1884); died, August 18, 1924 in West Donegal, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint John’s Cemetery, Hamburg, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
