SCHLICHER, Edwin, a Representative from Schuylkill County; born, 1844 in Upper Hanover, Montgomery County, Pa.; miller; general manager, Shepp Mill, Tamaqua, Pa.; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1880 and 1882; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1884); unsuccessful campaign, recorder of deeds, Schuylkill County (1887); proprietor, Union House, Pottsville; salesman, Lebanon Brewing Company; assistant warden, Schuylkill County Jail; travelling agent, King’s Best Flour; died, March 18, 1904 in Pottsville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania; interred, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pottsville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
