PARKINSON, Robert Wiley, a Representative from Washington County; born, December 13, 1833 in Morris Township, Washington County, Pa.; captain, Company K, 161st Regiment, 16th Pennsylvania Volunteer Cavalry (1862-1863, Civil War); farmer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1882; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1884); wool tradesman; died, April 6, 1920 in Old Concord, Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, Prosperity Cemetery, Prosperity, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
