Ormsby & Sons Coal Mine; elected, justice of peace; president, the Banking Company, Sharpsville; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1883 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1885 term; died, August 11, 1890 in Sharpsville, Mercer County, Pennsylvania; interred, Riverside Cemetery, Sharpsville, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.
