MYTON, Thomas W., a Representative from Huntingdon County; born, February 13, 1842 in West Township, Huntingdon County, Pa.; attended, Mooresville Academy; private, Company H, 148th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1862-1863, Civil War); teacher; lawyer (1868-1908); elected, treasurer, Huntingdon County (1865-1869, 1908); elected, prothonotary, Huntingdon County (1872-1875); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1882; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1884); died, December 27, 1908 in Huntingdon, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania; interred, Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.
