HOOFNAGLE, William H., a Representative from Dauphin County, born, March 1, 1844 in Lower Paxtang Township, Dauphin County, Pa.; attended, White Hall Academy; teacher; elected, justice of the peace; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1880 and 1882; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1884); farmer; died, February 14, 1918 in Penbrook, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, East Harrisburg Cemetery, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
