GAHAN, Thomas Francis, a Representative from Lycoming County; born, August 6, 1846 in Cherry Township, Sullivan County, Pa.; founder and principal, Muncy Normal School; elected, school superintendent, Lycoming County (1872-1881); attorney at law; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1882; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1884); died, January 25, 1926 in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania; interred, Edgewood Cemetery, Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
