DONLY, Joseph T., a Representative from Butler County; born, December 23, 1840 in Pulaski, Lawrence County, Pa.; attended, Westminster College; farmer; teacher; engaged, mercantile business; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Witherups, Pa. (1867-1869); attorney-at-law (1872-1901); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1883 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1884); died, May 20, 1901 in Towanda, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
