DANNEHOWER, John C., a Representative from Montgomery County; born, February 8, 1845 in Zeiglersville, Montgomery County, Pa.; cigar manufacturer; elected, justice of the peace (1877); secretary, Tylersport Union Mutual Live Stock Insurance Company (1878-1884); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1878 and 1882; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1880); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1884); died, December 20, 1884 in Tylersport, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Sellersville Cemetery, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
