BURNITE, David Clark, a Representative from Dauphin County; born, October 24, 1833 in Cecil County, Md.; private, Company B, 127th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1862-1863, Civil War); painter; photographer; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1882; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1884); died, April 14, 1886 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Harrisburg Cemetery, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
