ADAMS, Thomas Hayden, a Representative from Huntingdon County; born, February 16, 1836 in Huntingdon County, Pa.; attended, Juniata Academy; attended, Duff’s Commercial College; dry goods and general merchant; elected, burgess, Mount Union borough (1870-1872); president, Central Banking Company; elected, delegate, Democratic State Convention (1882); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1882; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1884); president, Central National Bank of Mount Union; died, August 16, 1915 in Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Union Cemetery, Mount Union, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.
