(1864-1884); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1884; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1886); attorney-at-law; president, Great Eastern Oil and Gas Company of Pennsylvania; president, New Albany Mining Company; president, First National Bank of Dushore; died, December 22, 1909 in New Albany, Bradford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Hillcrest Cemetery, New Albany, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
