SPONSLER, William Henry, a Representative from Perry County, born in Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pa., February 16, 1853; graduated, Princeton College (now Princeton University), 1874; lawyer (1876-1924); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1883 and 1885 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1886); died, April 7, 1924 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Harrisburg Cemetery, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
