ROMIG, James E., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, October 1, 1851 in Reading, Berks County, Pa.; engaged in shoemaking and brickmaking; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1881, 1883 and 1885 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1887 term; collector, Bergdoll Brewery; city magistrate, Philadelphia; died, January 16, 1935 in Roslyn, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, West Laurel Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
