ROBERTS, Thomas Benton, a Representative from Mercer County; born, August 12, 1834 in Sugar Grove Township, Mercer County, Pa.; carpenter; sheep farmer; elected, justice of the peace, Salem Township; elected, school director, Salem Township; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1884; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1886); contractor and builder; died, January 18, 1904 in Salem Township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania; interred, Stevenson Cemetery, Greenville, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.
