MYERS, Ephraim, a Representative from Adams County; born, September 29, 1823 near East Berlin, Adams County, Pa.; attended, Gettysburg College; engaged in merchandizing; elected, commissioner, Adams County (1861-1864); director (1859-1864) and president (1864-1875), Littlestown Railroad; director, Littlestown Savings and Loan; owner, dry goods store; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1884; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1886); died, July 5, 1900 in Littlestown, Adams County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown, Adams County, Pennsylvania.
