LEE, Nelson, a Representative from Wyoming County; born, October 16, 1827 in Eaton, Luzerne County (now Wyoming County), Pa.; attended, Madison Academy, Luzerne County, Pa.; farmer; proprietor, Walls’ Hotel; appointed, supervisor, Eaton Township; enumerator, United States Census, Eaton (1880); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1884; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1886); proprietor, Keeler House (1885-1895); elected, delegate, Democratic National Convention (1892); died, January 20, 1897 in Tunkhannock, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania; interred, South Eaton Cemetery, Tunkhannock, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania.
