HARSH, Robert A., a Representative from Mercer County; born, February 28, 1847 in Fairview Township, Mercer County, Pa.; teacher (1864-1867); principal, West Middlesex School District (1878-1879); dry goods merchant; lumber dealer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1885 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1887 term; died, April 1, 1891 in Fredonia, Mercer County, Pennsylvania; interred, Millbank Cemetery, Fredonia, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.
