GRAHAM, John, a Representative from Cumberland County; born, August 4, 1843 near Newville, Cumberland County, Pa.; attended, Eastman’s College, NY; grocer (1868-1870); bookkeeper, First National Bank, Newville (1870-1876); proprietor, Big Spring Tannery; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1882 and 1884; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1886); president, various traction companies in Pennsylvania and West Virginia; farm owner; died, December 15, 1915 in Baltimore, Maryland; interred, interred, Big Spring Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Newville, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
