(1880-1884); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1884; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1886); died, September 3, 1902 in Burgettstown, Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, Fairview Cemetery, Burgettstown, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
