EALER, Josiah J., a Representative from Northampton County; born, September 29, 1834 in Forks Township, Northampton County, Pa.; teacher; farmer; land surveyor; elected, justice of the peace; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1882 and 1884; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1886); elected, auditor, Williams Township; died, November 17, 1922 in Williams Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Williams Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
