DINAN, Thomas, a Representative from Lycoming County; born, March 13, 1835 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; second lieutenant, Company A, 122nd Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1862-1863, Civil War); engaged, cabinet making business; foreman, Williamsport Furniture Company; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1884; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1886); died, July 15, 1896 in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania; interred, Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
