DICK, Mungo Montgomery, a Representative from Westmoreland County; born, December 13, 1821 in Sewickley Township, Westmoreland County, Pa.; captain, Company E, 105th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1861, Civil War); major, 105th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1861-1862, Civil War); livestock farmer; elected, commissioner, Westmoreland County (1876-1879); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1885 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1887 term; engaged, banking; died, June 5, 1895 in West Newton, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Sewickley Union Cemetery Association, West Newton, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
