DECK, Isaac Zerbe, a Representative from Berks County; born, April 28, 1837 in Jonestown, Lebanon County, Pa.; attended, Stouchsburg Academy; attended, Missionary Institute, Selinsgrove; teacher; organist; engaged, tombstone engraving; elected, auditor, Tulpehoken Township (10 years); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1882 and 1884; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1886); clerk, Liess, Schwoyer, and Deck, marble dealers; died, August 27, 1897 in Easton, Berks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Haags Cemetery, Bernville, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
