BRYSON, William, a Representative from Columbia County; born, June 13, 1849 in Minersville, Schuylkill County, Pa.; attended, Bloomsburg Literary Institute and State Normal School (now Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania); attended, Dickinson Seminary (now Lycoming College); attorney-at-law; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1876); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1882 and 1884; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1886); died, April 12, 1894 in Philipsburg, Centre County, Pennsylvania; interred, Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
