BRUNGARD, Aaron W., a Representative from Clinton County; born, April 18, 1850 near Sugar Valley, Clinton County, Pa.; attended, Bloomsburg Literary Institute and Normal School (now Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania) and the University at Lewisburg (now Bucknell University); farmer; teacher; principal, Renovo schools; lawyer; chair, Clinton County Democratic Committee (2 years); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1884; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1886); elected, District Attorney, Clinton County (1887-1890); elected, council, Lock Haven (10 years); elected, controller, Lock Haven (1914-1915); died, September 3, 1915 in Lock Haven, Clinton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Highland Cemetery, Lock Haven, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
