RHONE, Leonard, a Representative from Centre County; born, July 21, 1838 in Potter Township, Centre County, Pa.; attended, Kishacoquillas Seminary (1857-1858); farmer; master, State Grange of Pennsylvania (1880-1898); member, State Board of the Reformatory Institution at Huntingdon; unsuccessful Greenback Party campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1880); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1884 and 1886; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1888); established, Centre County Grange Encampment and Fair; died, September 25, 1917 in Centre Hall, Centre County, Pennsylvania; interred, Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery, Centre Hall, Centre County, Pennsylvania.
