RAUDENBUSH, Anthony W., a Representative from Carbon County; born, May 30, 1839 in Milford Township, Bucks County, Pa.; corporal, Company H, 11th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1861-1863, Civil War); cigar maker; locomotive engineer, Lehigh Valley Railroad (23 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1886; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1888); postmaster, United States Postal Service, Lehighton (1889-1894); elected, alderman, Wilkes-Barre; died, January 31, 1928 in Lehighton, Carbon County, Pennsylvania; interred, Oak Lawn Cemetery and Mausoleum, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
