CHAFFEE, Warren, a Representative from Erie County; born, November 8, 1843 in Amity, Erie County, Pa.; private, Company L, 102nd Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1865, Civil War); teacher; dairy and stock farmer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1887 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1889 term; died, June 22, 1925 in Union City, Erie County, Pennsylvania; interred, Evergreen Cemetery, Union City, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
